Following a man's dream, Dosio Winery was founded in 1974 on an existing farmhouse, dating back to the first half of the 18th century.Completely surrounded by its own vineyards,it is located in an astonishing position on the highest point of the municipality of La Morra, one of the sole 11 villages where is possible to produce Barolo, 500 meters above sea level.In Piedmont, Dosio owns vinevards in 3 different areas: In the heart of Langhe region, in the village of La Morra and Barolo, focusing on the typical wines of the area, like Barolo, Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dol- cetto.In the heart of Monferrato region, village of Agliano Terme (aka Nizza) for Barbera. And Moscato d, Asti vine yards are instead near the village of Canelli, where this fruity,sweet and aromatic wine was born. Grapes: Moscato White Canelli Origin: Ceirole hill in Canelli Altitude: 320m asl Soil: calcareous Vinification: Soft wine-pressing; short fermentation with natu-ral yeast, up to the development of about 5 degrees of alcohol: small number of microfiltrations. Ageing in immediately in thebottle for few months in the cellar before being ready. Tasting Notes: Brilliant golden yellow, very intense color. Aromatic, fragrant and delicate, with scents of sage and citrus bynose. Slightly sparkling, harmonious and full, delicately sweet. fresh and persistent with balanced acidity typical of the freshlypicked grapes. Food pairings: Red meats, game, braised meats and aged cheeses.ldeally paired with structured vegetarian dishes. Serving Temperature: 8°-10°C Alcohol: 5%
