Winery: Chateau Jeanne Grape variety: Sauvignon Blanc Appellation: Veneto Packing: 750ml/6 Grade: DOC Alcohol: 12.5% Vol Vinification process: The grapes were harvested at night or at the first light of dawn, where the cool temperatures helped to preserve the varietal aromas of the berries. The grapes were cold macerated, then gently pressed and transferred to stainless steel fermenters for alcoholic fermentation. At the end of fermentation, the wine was bottled after three months of contact with the yeasts in the mash. Taste description: Straw yellow color with a slight greenish tint, with aromas of wild flowers and ripe melons, rounded and full-bodied on the palate, with a long aftertaste. Wine Pairing: Ideal as an aperitif with light soups and risottos, and best with fish dishes. Serve chilled at 10-12°C. Awards: Three Stars from the Italian Sommelier Association of Rome
